Please tell me about your commute. I'm jobhunting and psyching myself up for having a long commute. For the first 3.5 years of my career, I drove over an hour each way to work. I loved my job, it was worth it, but when I moved to a town closer to where I worked and the commute dropped to 45 minutes each way, it was amazing. A year and a half.. My commute has varied between 45 mins and 1.5 hrs on trains over the last 10 yrs but I've not had to go in 5 days a week in that time - at the most was 3 days a week. Personally I wouldn't take a job that was 5 days in the office now if it meant a beast of a commute - 2 days a week is fine with all the risk of disruption of trains etc etc etc but every day no thanks.
